Adhesives

For the last 50-100 years the progress in adhesive and sealant field is very explosive and continue to increase. Even at present it is the practice to classify adhesives and sealants by many signs: by application field, by polymer type, by availability or absence of solvent, by cure mode etc.

Most of polymeric materials have their own base level of properties that defermine the application field thereof. Modern and professional adhesives or sealants these are materials adapted fully for concrete field of application, concrete technical task, required technology of application thereof. Only base level of properties of modern professional adhesives and sealants determines secondary application field thereof.

Our enterprise produces adhesives of the following types:

  • one-packed fast-curing epoxy adhesives (supplied in ready-to-use form);
  • epoxy adhesives of cold cure;
  • current conduction adhesives;
  • phenolformaldehyde adhesives;
  • adhesives based on nitrocellulose;
  • adhesives based on casein for paper and carton (label adhesives)..

Reinforced polymer construction

Reinforced polymeric materials are common named glass plastics, carbon plastics, organoplastics classifying them by the type of reinforcing material. In any case, this is structure, which is consists of binding polymer material (binder) and reinforcing material. Structural characteristics are effected by binder properties and reinforcing material properties. For example, glass plastic has 60-70% of tensile strength owing to glass thread or other reinforcing material. At the same time for impact resistance, flexural strength limit and work service temperature of the material, determining properties of binder are the following: its adhesion to reinforcing material, strength characteristics of polymer matrix, heat resistance etc. Properties and characteristics of ready-to-use article from glass plastic is very affected by method of the manufacture of reinforced polymeric material.

  Separate unseparated.

On the one hand a ready-to-use article (pipe, wing or blade etc.) made of any material presents a construction. At the same time, when we say about glass plastic pipe, we mean that the material for its manufacture is glass plastic. The latter in its turn and independent of geometric sizes is also a construction consisting of bindering polymeric material (binder) and reinforcing material. Roughly speaking, a ready-to-use article (pipe, wing, blade, yacht or boat) – this is a constructions and requirements to them we should separate! Unseparated and simultaneous   is only molding process of a ready-to-use article with its geometric sizes and material of which it is made, that is, reinforced polymer.

Sush a situation is similar to the principle " SEPARATE and GOVERN ". This opens unlimited possibilities practically for designers and technologists, while a finished product usually acquires unique complex of properties.

From reinforced polymeric materials they usually obtain the following products:

 
Plastisols

PVC-plastisols present materials based on some types of polyvinylchloride resins, plasticizers, modifiers, adhesive and other special additives. They are capable of giving polymeric coatings with good water – and chemical resistance, excellent appearance, gloss etc. Plastisols can be used both as coatings of different technical purposes and as adhesives.
