Application of constructional glues at manufacturing the cutting tool
Glue UP-5-207 is applied to gluing in inserts at manufacturing the cutting tool. It is caused by stability firm a material to action of vibrating and non-uniform loadings and high durability at the raised temperatures.
The developed designs of cutting tools per 1983-87 All-Union research tool institute and the Design institute of technology of mechanical engineering (Tula) in a combination to a complex of properties of glue UP-5-207 allow to make cutting tools, using operation of an insert at assembly of the tool.
The similar technology has a number of advantages:
- Influence of technological temperatures at pasting considerably below temperatures roasting, holidays, weldings or rations;
- time of technological process of operation of pasting makes 3-4 hours against 17-18 hour at a ration and 18-24 hours at welding;
- Exception of a production cycle of dear fluxes and solders;
- gluing in allows to use earlier the grinded inserts from firm alloys that provides harmony and accuracy of manufacturing of the cutting tool;
- The failed inserts of firm alloys are easily taken from frame by heating up to 400-4500C. Restorationally, thus, the insert is suitable for the further gluing in.
The design documentation on the tool of a new design is available and can be given to all interested enterprises.
Use of a new design and technology of pasting have allowed to make successfully fingers mine driftering combines, scrapers and fingers of dredges, cutters, mills, countersinks, drills for chisel installations.
Unique restriction at use gluing the tool is the working temperature. It should not exceed 350-4500C This temperature is never exceeded at use of solutions for drilling or SOJ which are widely used at modern processings of metals and tool manufacture.
